When we visit a site, we don't just provide a quote. We also put in place temporary supports, so the tree no longer poses a safety threat. However, this is not a long-term solution. The idea is to make the tree safe for the interim, until we (or another arborist of your choice) can attend the site to perform the full service.
Each property owner or tenant contacts their individual insurance companies to over the cost of the part of the tree which has fallen on their property.
Generally, your home insurance company covers the cost. There may be an excess to pay, but this depends on which insurance company you're covered by.
For 'make safe' call-outs, we can attend your site on the same day.
